Do you have 5 years’ experience with Linus OS system administration?
Our client, an international lead generation company, is currently looking to be the world's number one provider of high-quality iGaming leads. The Malta office consists of over 20 different nationalities and it believes in a healthy and fulfilling work life balance approach.
A Senior Systems Administrator is required to join their dynamic team. The main responsibilities entailed are:
Setting up tools and automation
Monitoring and auditing the health and availability of systems
Working closely with development teams for projects requirements and troubleshooting
Performing capacity planning for a rapidly growing productions environment
Acting as a point of reference for the rest of the team members
Testing new cloud based and locally hosted technologies to improve scalability and facilitate operations
Performing risk analysis exercises on the several systems and provide solutions how risk can be reduced
Building documentation for key systems and services
Being responsible for the backup and recovery planning and testing process

Skills
5 years’ experience with Linux OS (CentOS / Ubuntu) system administration
Fluent with version control systems such as Git
Ninja in Continuous integration products such as Jenkins and other orchestration tools
Fluent with MySQL / Mongo database maintenance and tuning
Masters Nginx and / or Apache web servers
Experience with virtualization and containerization (Docker)
Experience with monitoring tools (Zabbix, Grafana, Cacti etc)
Superb time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
Excellent troubleshooting skills
Be a team player
Work under minimal supervision
Have an eye for detail
Fluent with version control systems such as Git
