Lovepop is continually pushing the envelope and we’re looking for a Project Manager who can be the ultimate facilitator for our US and Vietnam design teams. You’ll have the opportunity to take on challenging creative tasks, be a foundational communicator stationed in our Vietnam factory, and will help change the way people think about gifting.
What you’ll do here:
- Be the ultimate Project Manager for the design team in Vietnam
- Communicate and coordinate with the Vietnam and US design and production teams on a daily cadence
- Regroup with the US team on a set interval to revise and improve process of both design teams
- Work with our design and production teams to increase efficiency and quality of our design and production
- Be the change you want to see: Facilitate and ensure that our final products are perfect and beautiful for our customers.
- Work within style guidelines and design frameworks to ensure consistency across all our developing products
- Work alongside incredibly motivated Design Managers in both US and Vietnam and be accountable for hitting design/production deadlines
- Help grow a team! Work with HR in Vietnam to hire the best people for the growing Lovepop business
- Collaborate with a team of highly engaged and open-minded people!
What you’ll bring to the table:
- At least 3 years of experience a project management and/or design related field
- Fluency in both English and Vietnamese
- Experience managing multiple projects at once against aggressive deadlines
- Willingness to travel to and from US and Vietnam as needed
- Experience working on large scale design and production
- Outstanding project management, cross team collaboration, communication and time management skills
- Flexibility to alter your schedule around time barriers to communicate more effectively with the US and VN teams.
- No ego with the willingness to admit mistakes, take feedback constructively, and take on new responsibilities
You’ll be great if you:
- Have a keen solid design sense: exceptional knowledge of layout, composition, sizing, and effective use of color
- Have worked with large design and production teams in the past
- Have work with the production of physical products in the past
- Have experience in designing within systems
- Have worked with cross cultural teams and time zones in the past
- Have a passion for paper and have worked on projects that deeply involved paper craft and printing
