Introduction:

We require a skilled Senior General Accountant to join our experienced Finance Team. Reporting to the Deputy Finance Manager, you will have broad responsibilities across financial and management reporting. You can look forward to generous financial incentives, gaining exposure to commercial areas and genuine opportunities for career progression.

Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

- Conform with and abide by all regulatory guidance and internal policies & procedures.
- Contribute to department and organization special projects as assigned.
- Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, and document business transactions.
- Record expenses and payroll entries
- Preparation of other accounting documents.
- Daily reconciliation, analysis and compilation transaction reports
- Regular billing and Invoicing to client
- Internal billing and Invoicing
- Ensure accounting and related system reports for accuracy and completeness.
- Input and handling of financial data and reports for the company's automated financial systems.
- Assist deputy financial manager for internal and external audits.
- Responsible to provide data to analyze cash flow, budgets and forecasts
- Handling VAT and Tax issues.
- Other duties assigned by CFO.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

- Bachelors of Science in Accounting or equivalent from an accredited university.
- Four to six years progressively responsible experience in the accounting.

REQUIRED Skills:






- Thorough understanding of IFRS. Knowledge of Statutory accounting principles.
- Strong analytical and accounting skills.
- Experience with MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook and similar programs.
- Knowledge and experience SAP is compulsory.
- Must be able to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline driven environment.
- Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and take on new tasks with high level of difficulty.

In this project, Appen will collect speech data in Italian to improve and develop artificial intelligence algorithms that will be used to improve speech recognition technologies.

We are looking for users in Switzerland to read and record short sentences using our Appen Mobile app.

Project Overview:
The project contains a total of 600 short sentences that you will need to read on the screen and record using the Appen Mobile app. Just follow the sentences written in Italian, there is no need to create your own.

-Example of a sentence you will need to read: "Okay Alexa, I need directions to work"

Task Duration:
For each sentence, it will take an average of 3 to 6 seconds. In total, for the 600 recordings, consider a duration of 3 hours. Of course, we encourage you to take short breaks and you will be given at least 7 days to complete the session.


Key Requirements:
-Own a recent smartphone
iOS devices must be iPhone 8 or newer
Android devices must be 2017 or newer
-Be a fluent speaker of Italian and a resident of Switzerland
-Able to record in a very quiet indoor environment, free from background noise.
