Introduction:
We require a skilled Senior General Accountant to join our experienced Finance Team. Reporting to the Deputy Finance Manager, you will have broad responsibilities across financial and management reporting. Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Conform with and abide by all regulatory guidance and internal policies & procedures.
- Contribute to department and organization special projects as assigned.
- Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, and document business transactions.
- Record expenses and payroll entries
- Preparation of other accounting documents.
- Daily reconciliation, analysis and compilation transaction reports
- Regular billing and Invoicing to client
- Internal billing and Invoicing
- Ensure accounting and related system reports for accuracy and completeness.
- Input and handling of financial data and reports for the company's automated financial systems.
- Assist deputy financial manager for internal and external audits.
- Responsible to provide data to analyze cash flow, budgets and forecasts
- Handling VAT and Tax issues.
- Other duties assigned by CFO.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
- Bachelors of Science in Accounting or equivalent from an accredited university.
- Four to six years progressively responsible experience in the accounting.
REQUIRED Skills:
- Thorough understanding of IFRS. Knowledge of Statutory accounting principles.
- Strong analytical and accounting skills.
- Experience with MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook and similar programs.
- Knowledge and experience SAP is compulsory.
- Must be able to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline driven environment.
- Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and take on new tasks with high level of difficulty.
