WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
The main responsibilities of the Global Talent Solutions Associate are:
- Source and identify top candidates for positions with challenging requirements in global development organizations; this includes targeted outreach campaigns for special projects and events. We’ll put your already-strong analytical skills to good use.
- Support (remotely) the screening and evaluation of hundreds of candidates for:
- Large-scale special recruitment projects in partnership with multilateral development banks, UN agencies, and other international development organizations;
- Annual events like the Devex Career Fairs held in Washington DC.
After gaining enough experience in project implementation, you will eventually act as Project Lead in special recruitment projects, in the following ways:
- Identifying and addressing process/operational issues, including taking part in the screening and hiring of consultants;
- Onboarding, training, and collaborating extensively with consultants and external teams, and conducting quality checks on their respective work to ensure standards are met;
- Facilitating and strengthening communication between internal and external teams;
- Manage and coordinate tasks of the project team and freelancers
- Serving as the point person for client coordination. Lead/facilitate calls with client POC

To fit well in this role you must be sharp, organized, know how to see a project through from start to finish, have the capacity to proactively identify and solve problems, and possess the research, outreach and customer service skills to engage with multi-cultural talent at all career levels (including Executive).
Lastly – and this really matters – you will need attention to detail as well as the communications skills that attract colleagues to want to work with you.
You also must have…
- A bachelor’s degree in a related field (Human resources, communications, international development);
- 2-4 years of experience in recruitment or outreach activities;
- Native or near-native written and spoken English skills;
- The drive to help people find jobs they love and guiding employers to the best talent;

- Experience formatting and/or writing CVs or cover letters for other professionals;
- Knowledge of how institutions like the World Bank and the Gates Foundation work, and what they do.
