Description
An Accounts Clerk vacancy has arisen within the Finance Department at NetRefer to support the Finance Executive in carrying out their responsibilities. The selected candidate’s job will be to perform a variety of accounts, bookkeeping and financial tasks.
Reporting to:
Finance Executive
Job Description:
Work closely with the Finance Executive by providing accounting support to ensure a smooth operation of tasks.
Perform day-to-day accounting tasks including preparation of bank postings, invoices, payments, etc.
Reconciliation of bank statements by comparing statements with general ledger.
Establish and maintain supplier accounts.
Chasing of debtors to ensure KPIs are achieved.
Assist in annual audit.
Assist with End of Month processes.
Compile reports when requested on activity areas to the Finance Executive.
Identify and resolve accounting problems and discrepancies.
Plan, organise and manage own workload to ensure contribution to NetRefer’s financial procedures is provided in a timely and accurate manner.
Suggest changes to the department procedures and actively participate in the continuous improvement of processes.
Ensure you uphold standard procedures, good practice & precedents and understand what results or outputs are required.
Knowledge, skills and experience required:
A minimum A Level pass in Accounting.
An MCAST diploma or degree, AAT or equivalent post-secondary qualification in accounting is preferential.
Previous experience in accounting is considered an asset.
Proficient in use of MS Office, mainly Excel & Outlook.
An advanced level of English (written and verbal).
