Casting call for a no-budget romance short film in HCM city.
ABOUT THE MOVIE-
-Logline: a young MAN vs a young WOMAN — They meet, they shame, they scare, they chase, they murder, they mourn, they suprise, they fall in love with, they laugh at, they fight, they hurt, they long for, they stare at, they slap, they tear up, they apologise to and they fall out of love with one another all in the length between DUSK to DAWN of one day. (there are midnight scenes)
-Shoot on the crew and actors’ free time (actors should be free at weekends(sats and suns) at late afternoon onwards)
-Rehersals & Filming are from end of May - August(~3 months)
(duration depends on the availability of the actors)
-Movie Length: Approximately 30 mins
-No dialogue (but lots of blocking)
-Filming location: promenade at Mong Bridge area, Dist 1, HCM city.
ABOUT CASTING-
(It’d be perfect if you’re an acting couple)
(Acting experience is not mandatory)
MALE ROLES:
. The young man: the protagonist, in his 20s, blames himself easily. Feels lots of longing and remorse. with a warm/calming voice. speaks english(to narrate the story).
. The (tall) man (several scenes): a supporting role, just a normal man, preferably aged 20-35. doesn’t need to be tall.
FEMALE ROLES:
. The young woman: female protagonist, 20s, playful, deaf, brave, energetic. speaks english.
. The (tall) woman(several scenes): a supporting role, mysterious, preferably aged 20-35. doesn’t need to be tall.
