Description
High Tech Engineering firm, specializing in laser-based machine vision products for the railway industry, seeks a Technical Assistance augment our Customer Service Department. This position is located in Hauppauge, NY.
Responsibilities include:
• Provide administrative support to customers service department
• Collect and track information on service requests and return merchandise authorizations
• Schedule and prioritize repairs, organize return shipment to customer
• Perform Daily System Health inspections of deployed products
• Provide technical support for product line for first level troubleshooting

• Excellent communications skills
• Comfortable supporting customers
• Working knowledge of IT/computers and Microsoft Office products
• More indepth knowledge Computer and Electronic technology a plus
• 5 years of working experience in relevant field
• Organized and works well under pressure
• Fluent in English as well as either French or German (all three a plus)
