3 Year contract (renewable)
Single and family contracts available.
Generous Tax free basic salary. Offered according to experience. 6 800 up to 12 375 Qatari Riyals per month. Which is a basic salary of up to /- 214 000 INR / 170 000 PHP/ 8200 TND. 
Free fully furnished accommodation provided.
Transport allowance of 1250 QAR per month added to your basic salary. 
Free "round trip" (to and from home country) flight tickets on joining, annual leave, and on repatriation. For those with family contract offered this will be also be applicable for your family (wife and up to 3 children up to 18 years old).
40 days paid annual vacation days.
End of Service Award (at end of contract) which is one month's salary for each year worked.

JOB SUMMARY:
To effectively manage the overall sterile processing operation of Central Sterile Services Department (staff, equipment, resources and budget) in a safe and efficient manner to achieve positive patient outcomes Facilitating and coordinating the team Delivering products in a timely manner to meet surgical services Managing risks Performance Management This is achieved by teamwork, continuous quality improvement initiatives, effective use of resources, and keeping abreast with current regulatory standards thru active participation in national and international societies.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
To provide leadership and support to overall operations of the department Performance indicators/outcomes Demonstrating a high level of expertise in overall knowledge and concept of sterilization and decontamination Managing the day to day activities of the department to achieve service delivery goals while effectively managing resources Preparing Plan (SLA) and Monthly Operating Report Assuming fiscal responsibilities, to include preparation and monitoring of operating and capital budget Developing & implementing quality standards in keeping up with current changes in practice standards with reference to such as. Maintaining records and statistics and status of tasks reports. Monitoring the departments' quality assurance, safety, environmental and infection control programs. Providing information, advice and guidance to the Preoperative Services on unit issues and operations as required. To develop competent and committed team of CSSD staff. Maintaining and developing training programs for Sterile Service Assistants/Technicians. Processes are in place to assess levels of competence to practice. Monitoring Sterile Service STAFF in achieving knowledge and competence. Conducting performance review to improve competence. Acting as a resource person to staff and clients. Discuss changes with Theatre, Team Leaders and staff. Implementing the process that brings about effective change. Demonstrating professional development and on-going education. Developing and implementing policies, procedures and maintaining quality assurance initiatives as required by external review agencies to ensure that established Hospital group standards are maintained. Ensuring unit service delivery exceeds customer expectations. Effective management of Budget. Monitoring CSSD activities including resource usage, demand, supply to ensure efficient processing and supply of all sterile products within budgeted costs. Health and Safety. Proactive in identifying and minimizing risk affecting CSSD practice. Displays commitment through actively supporting all health and safety initiatives. Ensures all staff maintains adequate safety standards on the job through consultation, training and supervision. Ensures own and others safety at all times. Complies with policies, procedures and safe systems of work Reports all incidents/accidents, including near misses in a timely fashion. High level of credibility within CS Professionals, and other related disciplines. Proven knowledge and expertise in Sterile Processing. Skilled at development of policies, protocols and guidelines. Committed to and skilled at using consultation processes to effect positive change.

Skills
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum: 3 years licensed experience in CSSD of which include 1 year experience of supervisor Role.
Preferred: 4 years licensed experience as supervisor in CSSD.
Diplomas
EDUCATION:
Minimum: 3 years Nursing Diploma 
Preferred: Bachelor in Nursing with Central Sterile Processing Course
