Description
A well-reputed construction company in Sharjah is looking to hire a Quantity Surveyor. The ideal candidate should have an In-depth understanding of construction, materials, pricing, and industry trends:
- Assist the SQS in raising the advance payment application/interim payment application/final accounts as per the terms of contract/LPO.
- Preparing supporting documents such as highlighted drawings and measurement sheets and coordination on behalf of the SQS for obtaining inspection requests, site work progress reports, material delivery notes, photographs etc. from the site team.
- Identifying variations that may occur by means of changes to drawings, specifications, timelines, a method of work and subcontractor claims.
- Providing commercial substantiation for variations.
- Undertake joint work inspection and measurement with the subcontractor.
