SAIC is seeking experienced and qualified personnel in Bahrain to support work with the Joint Expeditionary Command & Control (JEXC2) Family of Systems. These positions are contingent upon contract award, expected in November 2018.

As part of this effort, we are seeking experienced personnel to fill positions in the following areas:
Â
System Administration: Common tasks include installation of new hardware or software, creating and managing user accounts, maintaining computer systems such as servers and databases, and planning and properly responding to system outages and various other problems. Other responsibilities may include light programing or scripting to make the system workflows easier as well as training computer users and assistants.
Network Administration: Common tasks include the management and maintenance of switches, routers, firewalls, Virtual Private Network (VPN) gateways; duties also include administration of network security.
Satellite Communications: Common tasks include: maintaining, processing and troubleshooting satellite systems in both the Contiguous United States and overseas. Submit satellite access request, creates Request for Maintenance Assistance (RMA); Include all services needed by the customer are satellite and gateway access request (SAR/GAR). Troubleshoot satellite communications problems at both STEP (Standardized Tactical Entry Point) and Tactical
sites. Satellite access equipment includes military and commercial satellite access terminals.
Infrastructure: Common tasks include: processing RMAs for IT support equipment, moving equipment, unboxing and inventory of IT infrastructure assets, light assembly of IT support equipment, racking of IT support equipment, and maintaining cleanliness in server setup area. The contractor should possess the ability to use hand tools, hydraulic and or electronic lifts to complete tasks. Infrastructure support equipment includes generator, HVAC, power infrastructure, tent assemblies and portable military grade hard shelters.

Project Background:
JEXC2 FoS was developed and is sustained at NSWC PCD. The JEXC2 FoS is based on the technologies developed under the Deployable Joint Command and Control program. JEXC2 FoS is a complex program involving not only new technology but also the utilization and integration of numerous systems, software applications, databases, and hardware products and processes from multiple services and other agencies. It has interfaces to U.S. National, Allied, Coalition (multinational), and Joint organizations, and reach back support systems and sources of information, procedures, and personnel. The program employs a spiral development process to take advantage of technology upgrades and evolving non-developmental military and commercially available equipment. JEXC2 development leverages the capabilities of existing C2 systems, Advanced Concept Technology Demonstrations (ACTD), and other advanced technology projects. The full-sized JEXC2 FoS system consists of a core of various Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (C4I) subsystems and networks with accompanying infrastructure; communications equipment; a Rapid Response Kit (RRK) with a smaller footprint; a Maritime Variant for shipboard use. Variants have been developed for specific use of 5th Marine Expeditionary Brigade (MEB), U. S. Naval Forces Central Command (NAVCENT), Mobile Landing Platform (MLP), Navy Expeditionary Combat Command (NECC), Expeditionary Mobile Base
(ESB) and other agencies as the need arises. For the purpose of this contract, JEXC2 will be used hence forth to represent any variant developed as part of the FoS.Â

Qualifications
BASICÂ EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Minimum education and experience requirements will vary depending on role and level. All positions require US Citizenship, and an active TS clearance with SCI eligibility.
