Contract
You will be the pioneer batch of faculty members to develop the Bachelor’s Degree of Aircraft Systems Engineering that will train graduates for the local aerospace industry including the maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) sector. As a faculty member, you will form part of a team of experts who are excited about institution building and passionate about teaching in the higher education sector. You will be responsible for teaching undergraduate courses in the Aircraft Systems Engineering programme, particularly in aerospace, mechanical and electrical related modules such as

Mechanics of Engineering Materials
Electrical/Electronic Circuits
Electrical Power Devices
Digital Electronic Instrumentation Systems / Aircraft Avionics
Aeronautical Engineering
Aircraft Performance
Applied Fluid Mechanics
Heat Transfer
Computer Programming Language
Financial Accounting
Project Management
You will also be encouraged to be involved in some applied research work with the industry.

1. Professor / Associate Professor
- A PhD from a reputable university with specialization in the area of Aerospace/Mechanical or Electrical/Electronics/Avionics
- Passionate about teaching
- A commitment to student success
- Extensive practical work experience in the field of teaching and strong industry networks
- Excellent track record in applied research
- Experience in leadership appointments
2. Assistant Professor
- A PhD or doctoral degree from a reputable university with specialization in the area of Aerospace/Mechanical or Electrical/Electronics/Avionics
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience
- Passionate about teaching
- A commitment to student success
- A track record in teaching at higher education institution and/or practical industry experience
- A track record in applied research
3. Lecturer / Senior Lecturer
- A Master’s from a reputable university with relevant experience in the local aerospace industry and MRO sector and/or near completion of a PhD in the area of Aerospace/Mechanical or Electrical/Electronics/Avionics
- Teaching experience at higher education institution and/or practical industry experience
- Pipelines of applied research
- Applicants without a post-graduate qualification must possess a track record in teaching at higher education institution and/or relevant practical industry experience
