Serve food and beverage to Restaurant guests in a friendly and courteous manner
Offer efficient, expedient and courteous service to Restaurant guests to ensure total guest satisfaction.
Examine glasses, cutlery, crockery and other items needed before putting them to use
Have knowledge of menu items, their preparation and service procedure.
Ensure all food dishes and beverages are according to menu and list specification, properly presented and must be of the correct temperature
Follow all food and hygiene standards according to HACCP requirements.
Clean all table tops before laying table cloths, clean all seating furniture if needed or when an emergency arises
Job Qualifications and Experience
Relevant qualifications for this position required
Hands-on experience as a waiter is required
Must be a team player and able to work in harmony with all staff and departments
Certificate in Food and Beverage Service will be a plus
Good communication abilities required
Excellent customer service skills required for the right candidate
Should be smart and presentable
The jobholder must be able to maintain the highest standard of personal hygiene, appearance and social skills.
Should be able to thrive in a fast paced environment
