Duties & Responsibilities :
1. Supervises and maintains effective inventory control and ensures timely and accurate re-ordering of materials to avoid shortage in the Region.
2. Coordinates the transfer and collection of material to and from Regions.
3. Ensure that all stores documents are entered on daily basis to cope-up with the on-line stock system.
4. Liaises with Central Warehouse/Dispatching unit to ensure that consignments for the Region are cleared on time & ensures accurate stock reordering.
5. Generate the slow moving & obsolete items report, forward & follow up the same with concerns, initiates appropriate steps for the proper utilization/disposal of such items in accordance with Material Management policies & guidelines.
6. Supervises & maintains monthly cycle count and report any discrepancy to superiors, perform random checking and countersign counting sheets.
7. Prepare and arrange the warehouse for the annual stock take for smooth count as per the Finance – HO instruction.
8. Recommends as required, improvements of systems & processes used in the Region's Warehouse to further enhance operational efficiency.
9. Supervises the safety of employees as well as the security of commodities & physical inventories as per policies, standards & directives issued by the Warehouse Management.
10. Coordinates insurance surveys & follows-up claims for damaged/short deliveries.
11. Attends to all correspondence/queries related to inventory control i.e. position, costs, receipts, transfers etc. in order to relieve immediate superior of routine & day-to-day functions.
12. Provides professional direction to subordinates evaluates their performance & carries-out the necessary counseling to ensure an acceptable level of performance.
13. Performs any other related duties as required.

Years & Field of Experience required: 4-6 years of general supervisory experience in handling routine, day to-day stores operations in a large & prestigious organization
