1/ What do you know about the school?
It all began over 50 years ago, in 1965, when Ms. Christina Ting Yuk-Chee and her sister, Mrs. Cecilia Lee Ting Yuk-Kuen opened a nursery that would provide a more caring and enjoyable place for their own children and others to attend. From this family-based foundation, the school flourished under the visionary leadership of one of its first students; Ms Ting’s daughter, Dr. Maggie Koong May-Kay. Dr. Koong returned from university in America to become the Chief Principal of the two nursery schools, and expanded the "Victoria family" into what is now known as Victoria Educational Organisation (VEO).
2/ How about working environment?
At Victoria Kindergarten, you will work with Kids who are from 2 - 6 years old. Your role is an English teacher and you will collaborate with 1 - 2 Chinese homeroom teachers in each class.
The class size ranges from 30 - 35 students/class and you are expected to work from Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am t0 5:00 pm
The school now is following IB PYP curriculum. Students are not only local Chinese but also from many countries in the world.
3/ Who are we looking for?
We are looking for Native teachers with background in Education or Early Childhood Education and love working with children.
Experienced and TEFL qualified candidate should be more preferable.
4/ Compensation and Benefits
If you can meet all the requirements for application, your salary and benefits would be:
$3,000/month (after tax). For the candidate with BA degree not majored in Education and Early Childhood Education, monthly salary is from $2,100 - $2,500
Housing allowance: $1,000
Health insurance provided
Ending contract bonus after finishing two year contract up to $7,000
Flight ticket provided at the end of each year contract
Working in beautiful places of Suzhou and Shanghai
Supportive local and international co-workers
