About Us
Newton Grammar School (NGS) is a private education system of primary, secondary and high school with over 2,500 students. We have campus 1 in Lot TH2, Hoang Quoc Viet New Urban Area, Bac Tu Liem District, Hanoi and campus 2 in Goldmark City, 136 Ho Tung Mau Street, Bac Tu Liem District, Ha Noi, Vietnam.
NGS has recently been recognized as a Cambridge School (code VN 241) and has run the American curriculum in key subjects for the last 6 years.
Given the increase in the student number, we are looking for one new foreign teacher of Math for grade 3 to 5 for the coming academic year 2018-2019 to start in the last week of July 2018.
Teachers are expected to work full-time from 7:30 am 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday (with lunch break and class recesses), teaching hours should be maximum 30 hours per week, remaining hours for marking papers, preparing lesson plan, support extra-curriculum activities as assigned by the School.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor Degree or Master’s Degree in Math, Science, Pedagogical or related disciplines, qualifications such as PGCE, Professional Educators License are advantageous.
Teaching experience in Math, familiarity with in Cambridge program/American curriculum and its assessment is a positive asset.
English native speaker or having worked in English speaking environment for at least 5 years (fluent English speaker level), certificates in TESOL, CELTA, previous formal training(s)
High level of time management, presentation, class management and team work skills
Being child-friendly, flexible, committed and result-oriented
Proficiency in using Word, Excel, PPT and other software related to teaching and learning, project management
SALARY: competitive pay based on qualifications, experience, performance and commitment
BENEFITS: work permit after probation, bonus in the end of school year (if the employee has completed all the requirements from the school during school year) and other incentives.
