Description
We are looking for a Native Female English Speaking Nursery Teacher from the following countries: UK, Canada, USA, Ireland, Australia, South Africa and New Zealand. 50,000bht per month with a Bachelor’s Degree and 60,000bht per month with a PGCE or a BEd.
As a candidate you should be energetic, creative, responsible with a caring attitude towards children. This is an excellent opportunity to work with young children aged between 1 and 3 years in an extremely well-equipped nursery with five rooms that includes a library and a music room. Each room has a large amount of teaching resources and the nursey has its own outside play area.
The teaching contact time is three hours a day, this involves facilitating learning through play. Thai assistants are there at all times to see to the children’s pastoral needs. The foreign teacher is only required to plan and teach. Extra English classes are offered to the children between 2-3pm, numbers are very small and relaxed.
Phoenix Wittaya is located in the Jomtein area of Pattaya, in the suburbs and close to Jomtein beach. It is the perfect location to work if you enjoy city life or a peaceful beach life. There are lots of cultural attractions within the area, and Bangkok is only a couple of hours dive away.

• Monday-Friday 7:40am-4pm
• Lesson planning and basic record keeping
What Phoenix Offers You?
• Up to 60,000 THB for qualified teachers (degree in education or degree plus a postgraduate certificate in education) less if unqualified, but not less than 50,000 THB.
• Once you have your work permit, you can join the social security scheme which offers you free medical treatment.
• Approximately 6 weeks paid vacation which is allocated at various times of the year upon passing probation.
• Visa and work permit fee reimbursed on completion of contract by the school with assistance on visa paperwork.
