Ex Libris is seeking for a full-time Technical Project Manager (Library Systems) to be based in Singapore.

Position Summary
The Technical Project Manager (Library Systems) is responsible and accountable for ensuring the success of a project delivery from planning executing and closing projects
Duties and Responsibilities
- Implementing Ex Libris products and services across APAC
- Participate and contributes in process improvement global initiative and work standardization across APAC
- Act as overall primary point of contact for the customer project team
- Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing requirements
- Manages day-to-day operational aspects of project and scope
- Manages project risk through mitigation planning
- Facilitates team and customer meetings
- Holds regular status meetings with project team
- Keeps executive team and stakeholders informed of project progress
- Effectively applies Project Management methodology Ex Libris procedures processes etc
- Perform Ex Libris product configuration based on customer’s requirements
- Analyze and troubleshoot customer issues and requests provide first line support to customers during implementation cycle
- Interpret and understand customer requirements and workflows and translate into Ex Librissolutions
- Provide product training to customers via Web-based or on-site training
- Review and contribute to training materials implementation tools and documents used internally and by customers
- Coordinate extensively with other Ex Libris teams including Cloud Services Installation Support Sales and Product Management
Qualifications
- B.A./B.S. degree or equivalent qualification or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Degree in Library Science/ Library qualifications are strongly preferred.
- Background in library workflows/standards would be advantageous
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage several complex tasks concurrently and meet deadlines
- Good interpersonal skills; must be a team player
- Excellent oral and written communication skills including training ability
- Ability to learn new information quickly and keep up with rapidly changing products and processes
- At least 2 years’ relevant experience is required
Ancillary Qualifications:
- Qualifications listed below while not necessarily a requirement for this position in each circumstance provide additional depth and value to the role.
- Professional experience in a library setting.
- Masters' degree in Library Science
- Previous experience working with Ex Libris products would be advantageous
- Customer service experience in a library or other business/technical setting is desirable
Other important information about this position:
- Local and international travel is required. E.g. 20% travel may be required.
- This position requires weekday (Monday - Friday) attendance with some scheduling flexibility available around core working hours.
