About You
We, at E.K.Kanoo, are looking for an Investment Manager who will be reporting to the Financial Controller on day-to-day operations and to the Chief Financial Officer on strategic objectives. The ideal candidate would have excellent English communication skills in both written and oral as well as possess excellent MS Office skills which are key traits for such a role. The role involves leadership of the investment activity as well as possessing problem solving and social skills, being able to work independently and having evaluation techniques are essential for the efficiency of this position. The ideal candidate should possess a Chartered Accounting Degree (CA / ACCA / CPA) and an added CFA to be considered for this role.
About the Role
The ideal candidate for this role would have 10-15 years of post-qualification experience and leadership role in an investment company in Bahrain or the GCC region. You would be responsible for investing surplus funds of the company, incharge of buying and selling evaluations as well as constantly reviewing and monitoring investment portfolio, evaluating investments, properties and businesses. The ideal candidate would conduct sensitivity analysis on portfolios, macro-economic changes which involves forecasting, Trade Finance activities, daily fund management and foreign exchange planning. You would be required to prepare daily reports and make presentations to management as and when required.
