What you will do
The Technical Sales Engineer role will be based in Dubai and report to the Regional Sales Director – Security Products of Middle East and Africa region. As a part of a growing team, you will be responsible to provide technical pre-sales support on Tyco Security Products (Access Control, Video and Intrusion) to channel partners, consultants, distributors and end users. You will prepare and deliver high quality sales & technical presentations, live product demonstrations, drawings and material submittals to get our products specified by consultants.
As a member of this team, you will work within a vibrant environment that provides a platform for you to use your experience to deliver our business objectives for our Middle East region.
How you will do it
As a Technical Sales Engineer for Security Products you will demonstrate your expertise by utilizing your deep market knowledge of our competitor’s products, services and strategies to generate new sales leads in the region. You will develop concept designs to deliver superior products that meets technical and commercial requirements of the business. You will attend sales exhibitions, trade shows and conduct technical training, seminars for consultants to increase their knowledge about our product portfolio and how it can be utilized in solutions.
You’re perseverant, determined and reliable in your approach to work, managing multiple priorities simultaneously because of your excellent technical, estimation, presentation and time management skills.
Qualifications
What we look for
Required
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 3 years of experience in pre-sales/design/application including optimization of product selection and submittals of technical bids in building security systems.
Strong technical knowledge and recent experience in technical sales support for sales team, channel partners, consultants, distributors and end users.
Technical acumen with commercial understanding.
Determined, results driven, strong sales drive
Fluent in English, French & Arabic language
Flexible in travelling.
